They go everywhere!

Recently my sewing machine almost broke. It's over 30 years old and has started doing so many shaky things that I was afraid to take it to my mechanic just knowing he would tell me it couldn't be fixed. I ended up swallowing the bullet and taking it, then patiently waited for the phone to ring. Luck was on my side, he was just clogged with lint in several places, and when I went to get him, he showed me places. I admit there are a few spots on my car where I was afraid to do anything. I don't have an owner's manual, I'd rather play it safe and have cleared areas that I knew needed clearing. I found myself doing using the wrong brushes to get into nooks and crannies and he sent me home with a couple of his. Long story short when I came across these I took them, they are very similar to the ones he gave me and they work great. It's only been a few months since it's been serviced, but now I diligently clean the areas it showed me once a week. I use low lint thread (Aurifil) but dust and dirt can still get deep into the sewing machine and I can now pull them out with these brushes. The key to a well-functioning sewing machine is cleaning between maintenance. If you use these brushes regularly, I have no doubt that I won't have to bother my mechanic as often.
