I bought this monitor because it was larger than 17 inches and had a built in stand. I plugged it in to test it and so far it's working great. I was also pleasantly surprised to find 4 different types of cables in the box... "Probably $40 for the cables alone. I look forward to using this monitor on my next trip. So far it fits well in my computer bag. It's also lighter than the 15-inch portable monitor I also have.
