Absolutely useless with meringue! This product compromises the integrity of egg whites and will completely ruin your batch. No details were given on them saying they cannot be used with meringue, they are gel based - it has now been revealed that there is NO RETURN POLICY! Again, no indication of this concern. While this can work well with other items, it doesn't take much to achieve the color you want. This must explicitly describe the product to avoid unwanted purchases AND state the NON-REFUND POLICY! I clicked on the seller Anne Clark and looked at the return policy. It says to refer to the amazon.com return policy which applies 30 days from receipt of purchase. It's been 4 days and I received the message "This product is non-returnable" and related to the return policy. That's a huge amount for something I can't use in 90% of my baked goods. I never buy their products because I don't trust their description.
