Great Apple Pencil 2 alternative with some limitations

, Just arrived and would like to share my first Pencil experience on my 2018 12.9" iPad Pro. The Pencil works great, as does my Apple Pencil Gen 2. In terms of screen usage, I would say the Functionality is identical with some caveats (see below) Pencil feel is a little lighter but overall pretty close It has a beveled side like the Apple Pencil so it technically fits in an iPad holder but doesn't have a magnet so it stays there Doesn't stick as well as the Apple Pencil. That's why it's only 4 stars. Adding a magnet would also give it a little more weight. In summary, here are a few things to know: - Double-tap isn't supported. I got it anyway Disabled but good to know if you need it. Different pressure levels are not supported. These. Pressing harder does not make the line thicker. Important for Artists - it doesn't have a magnet so doesn't attach well to an iPad. I have a Logitech keyboard cover with a flap in this area, but it still won't stay in place. So I will carry this pencil separately. It comes with a PU leather carry case. It doesn't charge inductively like the Apple Pencil. You have to plug it in to charge it. But it has a long battery life. Comes with a USB-A to USB-C charging cable. However, if you have a USB-C to USB-C cable, you can charge the Pencil from your iPad. Very pretty. Overall very nice and recommended for the price. Compared to the $129 Apple Pencil 2, of course.
