Lint sticks to narrow inserts and paint may bleed. But that's fine, I'll buy a fabric paint kit to fix them if needed, and as for the lint issue, a quick wash with water and they're back to normal, I don't even need soap! They're a great stress reliever even for adults, I always have them next to my laptop when I'm working in my home office and they make my day better! The good thing is they don't smell bad at all, they don't smell like chemistry to me when opened which is great! But if you have a small child playing with them, don't be surprised if they get dirty or the paint peels off quickly. These things aren't like foam squishes with thicker paint and some sort of clear coat, they're super soft mochi squishes which COULD make them more prone to wear and tear - but damn, I fucking love them. So affordable for what you can get!
