I bought new furniture and my 2 year old cat (who has NEVER scratched old furniture) thought she had new scratching posts! I ordered the tutorial tape ASAP and when it arrived I got to work attaching it to the furniture. Before I go any further, let me say that once I was able to peel off the sheets of tape, it stuck easily, just the right thickness, and best of all, the cat HATES it! It has never tried to scratch since the cartridge was attached. I'll leave it in place until the new furniture wears off. I would give this product 5 stars but peeling off the tape was so frustrating! I followed the directions and the blue side came off easily, but the white side was next to impossible! I ended up taking the whole sheet and in bright light I was able to find the gap with my thumbnail. I then used tweezers to pull back just enough so I could secure the sheet to the furniture and easily remove the backing. After connecting it really seems to work. Be aware that installation is a tricky task!
