Review on BREAKOUT-DEFYING Buf-Puf Regular Facial Sponge: Dermatologist Developed, Deep-Cleansing, and Exfoliating Solution to Vanish Blackheads and Dirt - 1 Count by Will Singh

Great for my middle aged acne prone skin

I've been using it for over a month now and can write a good review about it. I am 50 years old and acne is still prone to skin. I get clogged pores, blackheads appear, and when I get pimples a few times a month, they're inexplicable, huge, red, never go away, that continue to fester and even form scabs. I have found that I can use this to exfoliate my face when the pad is dry and also use it with a good liquid cleanser when wet. I'm allergic to so many things so being able to use it dry is great! It smooths away dead skin that needs to be washed off and moisturized. It also removes the invisible layer that covers clogged pores. So if I do this in the evening, the dirt in my pores will literally come to the surface when I get up in the morning, even if I'm in bed watching TV, ready to be cleaned. remove or squeeze lightly if necessary. I also use it in the shower or in the sink to deeply cleanse my skin. If I had makeup on that day (and I usually don't), I remove it first with makeup remover and/or a damp cloth with cleansing soap. I then use this pad with a small amount of Cetaphil to lightly cleanse and wash my face and neck. For the first time in over 25 years, I'm finally in control of my skin! I've been using a pad for about a month and it's good for 1-2 times a day, as well as an occasional exfoliation. My pores have shrunk, blemishes are reduced by about 90% and my face is smoother. I don't know if it helps with wrinkles yet, but some reviews say it does, so that would be an added bonus. After using a pad, I squeeze and shake it and set it next to the sink to dry. It's light and porous, so it dries quickly and completely, preventing mold and bacteria from doing their job there. However, if you're worried about bacteria, you can probably rinse it off with peroxide or rubbing alcohol, then rinse and dry, or maybe soak it in freshly boiled water to kill the germs. I didn't have that problem with this pad. I recently bought another teardrop pad in a similar color from Revain and found that what I got was a bit stiffer than this one. Not sure if I'll try this on my face or not, but if I do I'll definitely update this with what happened. Finally, I have very sensitive skin. My skin got worse in a few weeks before getting better, but it's definitely gotten a lot better. I think it was made worse by all the impurities I was removing from the skin along with the abrasion so I reduced the frequency of use on dry skin until my skin calmed down and that helped. This is the "gentle" version of the last one. I didn't use the 'regular' face version, but I used Buf Puf for the body, which is the regular version and I don't think my skin can handle it. My sensitive middle-aged skin needs it, but doesn't need full exfoliation! I don't see myself without it in the future. That's a small price to pay for a month of beautiful skin with a basic cleanser. I know this was a long time ago and I'm not a huge review writer, but if I can help someone who has had as many search problems as I have, it was worth the time I took to write this.
