I bought two for some projects around the house and they were easy to install after a little reading and a basic tutorial on youtube even as a beginner like me. The sides of the connector itself were clearly color coded and were designed for easy installation as I didn't need to refer to the exterior material - you just need to make sure you know what series of color codes your cable uses and follow the guides. Series A or B at the top or bottom of the decal chart, respectively. I used a cheap punch/stripper tool with mine that I got with a crimping tool kit on Amazon and got a good connection all round. Would definitely buy again if needed!
