These shoes run small. I usually wear women's sizes 6.5-7, but here I have 7.5-8 so they fit comfortably. It also helps to have a little extra room because - I ordered socks to wear (so they don't smell) - these shoes didn't give me enough arch support and I put in 3/4 inch arch/sole inserts to solve this problem - the back of the shoe was also really digging into my heel which was causing pain. Adding a sockliner in the sole lifted my heel and solved this problem - I'm a little concerned that the material in the upper of the shoe will wear out quickly because it's such a thin material. ie even just my toenail or something rubbing against it. Otherwise - I've taken them on a hike, walked the rocks - they were really comfortable, had good support and offered good foot control when climbing and getting on and off. arches down. I'm glad I have shoes that actually follow the shape of the foot.
