This is a good solid scarf holder and as advertised it appears to be 'snag free'. It holds an amazing amount of scarves - I currently have 12 and I think it will fit a few more without being too tight. I considered going for the 18 stitch option but was afraid the top stitch would be too small. Now I'm glad I didn't - after loading this one up with scarves I don't think a bigger one would fit the way I attached the scarves. (I routed the ends so that the scarves wrapped around the circles rather than just being pulled through - I did this to prevent the scarves from slipping down. The position of the loops on the larger version would make this impossible. If you just want to let the scarves hang loose, you can attach 18-hole holders.)
