I'm really happy with how durable and how it looks, but the smell it gives off is awful! I had a cardboard cat house with scratching post and my cat liked it but she stood on it and it kept falling off so I ordered a more durable cat house. It was very easy to put together and I was excited to see how she would react to it. Installed it in my room and now my room smells like a weird chemical. My cat won't even walk on it. I don't know if the smell repels her or what, but she doesn't want anything to do with it. I may have to give it to my street cats or raccoons that come to eat at night. Maybe they can handle the smell
