Review on πŸ“ž Enhanced Communication with Panasonic KX-TS208W: 2-Line LCD Speakerphone System, Clock, and Hearing Aid Compatibility by Rance Riley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The old phone still worked great but the twisted cord kept popping out.

This phone replaces our 26 year old Panasonic phone with similar features. The old phone still worked great, but the twisted cord kept popping out of the handset. I think the connector in the phone just wore out after so many years. My husband is checking his pacemaker on the phone and with the old phone and cable falling out during the test it became a problem. I think we could just buy a replacement headset, but we were looking forward to something new. I still have my old phone and may use it at some point in the future, but not for pacemaker testing. It fits well on the wall. It sticks out of the wall a little more than the old phone, but that didn't cause us any problems. We don't use the second line at all. Simply connect your phone line to "Line 1" if you are not using two phone lines. The speakerphone works well. The shortcut keys for saved numbers work well. Saving numbers is very easy, fewer steps than old phone. The LCD screen works well although my husband would like it to be brighter. He said wall mounting results in a suboptimal viewing angle for the screen. In other words, he thinks it would be easier to see if he was on the table. Our older model didn't have an LCD, so that's a plus for us. The keys are large and stand out well.
