I used my desk when I was sitting on the couch doing crosswords and sudoku and working on a history book that I liked the size of. The desktop board is heavy and will not sag in any way over time. While it looks good, the lap table has issues. The cushions are too hard for comfort and the sharp edges of the boards make it uncomfortable. I've already removed the top pad of the board that was preventing me from writing. The bottom pillows will be next, they will be replaced with something softer. By grinding the sharp edges of the board, it can act as a desk.
