Bought this stool for my home studio to do eyelash extensions. First, it was very easy to take it out of the box and put the pieces together for assembly. Next I looked at the details. The welding of the base to the wheels is of poor quality (see photo) but does not affect the functionality of the stool. A chrome plated "cap” is placed on top, making it virtually invisible when in use. I assembled it myself in less than 15 minutes. The materials of the pillow itself will definitely wear out over time, but buying a yard of fabric and new padding isn't difficult in my opinion. The size of the stool itself may not fit a big butt. I'm 5'4 and 155 lbs. It's ok for me though, just throw it away if it might be a problem for you. Hydraulics is the number one reason you want to spend $20 more and not get a $30 stool. The surcharge is worth it. Lots of different colors to choose from and I think you would be happy if you bought it.
