Review on PepperMate Traditional Peppercorns Ergonomic Adjustable Kitchen & Dining by Ricardo Ware

Revainrating 1 out of 5

That works great! but a star. Here's why:

Inexpensive at $35. The swivel crank is not straight and has play in fit and finish. Bad design. Grinds pepper very well. but i hate it Of course, if I hold it and turn the handle, the red or plain filler cap snaps off. I suspect that my thumb naturally lands there when I hold it. Twice now the lid has come off while rolling and the peppercorns are flying everywhere. Last time, half the grains got into my food and spoiled it, and the other half spilled all over the floor. I had to listen to my wife's screams about it. That alone is worth 1 star. I don't think it's just me, it's a poorly constructed product that needs to be held in your hand and takes some effort to turn the crank. This top should be designed to slide over the ridges, making it impossible to just come loose when you're using it. Instead, it's just a cheap latch on the lid that, when snapped on, looks like the rest of the product's body. I hate this product. Dear garbage.
