nitrate/nitrite/ammonia are at an undetectable 0 level since use but I have to say I used significantly more than I need for my 185g. The phosphate levels have not gone down in my experience but I have also many thighs I feed seaweed daily. I've sprinkled them in my overflows and swamp from scratch, they're holding up well and haven't gone bad in over a year, and they're all big enough that you don't have to worry about them getting stuck in most places stay or pump. - They clog when used without a filter sock between them and the stream, but they clean themselves in just a second by simply sticking them in a bucket of used tank water and shaking/flicking them one at a time (when I do a water change). ) - it takes about 20 minutes with 2 boxes and I do this about 2 times a year but other than that they are easy and maintenance free.
