I can't put into words how much I LOVE this paste! Much better than glue stick. Yes, smearing with a putty knife is a little harder than just using a glue stick, but it's worth it. Once dry, the adhesion is better than most glue sticks. In addition, you can get a completely smooth layer that covers the entire back, so there are no visible traces of "glue” in front of the picture. I also like that the item stays in a different position for a minute in case I don't find it in the right place. The water solubility facilitates cleaning. I keep a small jar (a Yoplait Oui jar) on my desk to rinse my fingers in when needed. Works perfectly! Also, a little goes a LONG way, so if this glass seems expensive to you, it's because it will last you forever! haha! A tip to make sure it doesn't dry out is to go a bit into a smaller jar (an old jar of face lotion or something similar) and work from there, rather than constantly opening and closing a giant jar.
