A great tool for anyone with a basic DIY skillset. Most people don't realize how much cartridge alignment affects the sound quality of a turntable. You always get some sound even if it's not equalized, but the signal degrades badly and stereo separation suffers as well. The cost of the tool will be less than a one-time setup in this area, maintenance has become expensive in our region. I would rather own an instrument even if I only use it a few times in my life. It's easy enough to put in a drawer or under the turntable itself for safekeeping.
