The costume itself is very pretty and looks well tailored. I am very disappointed that I have to send it back. So why 3 stars and a refund you ask? The size is incredibly small. For reference, my dog is considered a medium/large dog at around 50 pounds. She's a mutt, but we suspect she has a greyhound in her for a number of reasons; it is built as a unit. Very, very thin and narrow (just not that big). I measured a few times and based on the measurements given in the description, went for the XL to be on the safe side. Call me crazy but when I picture size XL in the dog kingdom I picture a mastiff or a 90 lb. Under no circumstances should this suit be considered a size XL in any way. Average at best (double checked - they gave us XL on the label and packaging). The armholes dug into my dog's trunkless armpits (causing a semi-funny gait, but not the point). There was no way the headboard could cover her head. She looked more like a dog gagged by said dragon, not quite the kind we want. So back to the drawing board for us. Again a very cute costume but remember how small it runs. I have no idea where they got his measurements from.
