Review on Solid Tie for πŸ‘¦ Big Boys from American Exchange by John Jones

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nice lightweight tie

We bought this tie for my 13 year old son. He has to wear it 3 nights a month. We bought it in January and by that time I had to hand sew most of the stitching that keeps the tie's pleats closed at the back and had to reattach the label to the back which also serves to tuck the back in. bind when binding. Luckily we don't wash this, so the stitching seems to be from regular clothing, albeit with a teenager (let's face it, they're bad for clothing in general). My husband's more expensive ties didn't have these issues at all after years of wearing. Therefore I recommend that this tie looks good and is very comfortable for occasional wear. or more intensive use if you are willing to hand sew things as needed. It's not the most durable men's clothing I've found, but the price was just right for our needs. If you are considering it for very heavy use (work uniform or similar) you might want to choose a different brand/tie. Whether you need it once or very rarely, black looks good and works well. you might want to choose a different brand/tie.
