This USB hub is housed in a robust metal housing made of high-quality materials. Unfortunately, the individual on/off buttons stopped working within a day. All USB ports are now enabled regardless of whether individual port switches are pressed. Also, my Logitech USB port receiver stopped working in Linux when all the power buttons went to the ON state. I took the same receiver and plugged it straight into the USB port on my Dell laptop (no reboot just moving the hub to the laptop), my keyboard and mouse worked again. Move it back to the hub, not the keyboard and mouse. I was delighted with this USB hub when I first received it and am sad that I have to return it for a refund. As said, the build materials and finishes are fantastic but they should work as advertised.
