Review on PetSafe Solvit UltraLite Portable Lightweight by Steph Washington

Bought for my 3 year old 80lb Chocolate Lab to allow him to get in and out of my Truck (Escalade) so he doesn't jump out and injure his hips and joints. I always take it off and keep it in a safe place in my trunk; and tie it down to keep it from moving/slipping. The ramp was used less than 50 times before it broke. Unfortunately the ramp broke when our dog tried to climb it (the whole mishap was caught on our security cameras) and injured his leg in the fall. He was limping for several days and we had to take him to the vet. They insisted it was an anterior ligament tear/break, but we were lucky that he stopped limping a few days before the scheduled x-ray. Since then we've been keeping him calm and relaxed as we want to make sure he's fully recovered before we get him running/playing again. Don't let the same thing happen to your dog. This ramp is DANGEROUS. Since then we have decided to only use foam/durable ladders.
