For storing that yarn you use to knit or crochet that only needs a skein or two, this little storage box is the perfect size. More storage space for yarn requires a larger drawer. It has a beautiful tree design on the outside and a zip closure at the top. A nice feature is the addition of 2 holes on each side of the zip for threading, so it doesn't have to be opened during work or when changing colors. There's a pocket for storing hooks, but knitting needles probably won't fit in this little case. I'm happy with that.
