Minimal packaging but works well.
Sold as a set. The packaging really isn't impressive, but the whole thing came. No damage or signs of inoperability like other commenters. It's from a bulk pack and costs less than buying one, plus a black one, which Nintendo doesn't sell separately. I would say it's worth it.
