I've tried several of these but they never hold my phone properly. When you turn, the whole thing falls to the side. This is the first that is sturdy enough to hold upright. I don't have a heavy phone either, I don't know why others didn't work. Another thing I like is that this unit doesn't have a bracket underneath that blocks the bottom of the phone so the speakers aren't as loud and it's difficult to plug the power cord into them. Another plus is that I can connect something else at the same time. I haven't figured out the voltmeter yet, but it should be useful. That would be my only complaint - terrible instructions. Haven't had it long but so far so good.
