I don't think it's safe for your gums so be careful.
Okay, so it kind of burns. Lighten up a little at first, but without much change. The braces gave me a white spot that has become clearer, which I don't like that much. But it burned the gum between my two front teeth so I had to pull it out. I've never done a whitening and I'm sure they can whiten, but it's not for me. I will try again next month and because of the burning frustration that I couldn't walk more than 7-8 minutes.
