Large Starter Kit
This kit had everything I needed to start binding inserts for my own travel notebook. I've used most of the tools that came with it, and the waxed cord looks really nice next to the bound pages. The awl is sharp making it easy to cut through paper, cardboard and vinyl mats. I'm sure it will go through the skin but I haven't had an opportunity like this yet. It comes with lots of blunt needles to thread through the holes you've pierced with the awl. The set really made my bookbinding experience more enjoyable than struggling with tools that weren't designed for the task.
