Great for use on General Aviation aircraft

I am a pilot and use this on my plane as a handheld flight instrument and GPS map with VFR maps. Great device to run iFly GPS on an airplane (Garmin Pilot works too, but iFly GPS is better). Much brighter than the iPad or Aero 660 which are difficult to see on a bright day. The battery really lasts 6 hours with full brightness and continuous use. The device never overheats (military specifications). Built-in WAAS positioning. Interfaces with Stratus 3 have an open architecture, but are very functional in their own right. I love using Foreflight, but my iPad and iPhone always overheat and I always need a backup battery at some point.
