Review on Moen 26100SRN Engage Magnetix 3.5-Inch Six-Function Handheld Showerhead: Magnetic Docking, Spot Resist Brushed Nickel by Joseph Hamilton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great, but be aware.

Due to its design, it doesn't stick out in the holder like most portable devices. The back of the head attaches directly to the bracket, which means it's lower than you're used to on a short chimney. Because of this, the spray angle will be different. It's not a mistake, it's the way it's done, which is why I didn't deduct the stars. However, this article is amazing. I almost regret not removing the flow restrictor because the pressure of the various spray settings is HEAVY. I ran it in the massage parlor with the bathroom door closed and my wife yelled and asked if our plumbing had ruptured. Sounds like a jackhammer during a massage. When the spray is full, I have to make sure I have a firm grip on the pen because it wants to bounce off the pressure. The magnets are strong enough to keep it in place when I'm not using it in my hand, so no worries. I've had other, cheaper Moen portables bought from places like Lowe's. It's on a whole different level. It even outperforms the old original Waterpik handhelds I used before they made the way they made them cheaper. Aside from height/angle and pressure (try the limiter first, I should have done that. You may not need to remove it), I have no reservations or warnings. This is definitely a great shower head and I'm glad I found it through some reviews on the internet.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
