Not compatible with Galaxy Note 9

Bought for use with Note 9. Download the video from the dash cam. It's nice and small, so I wanted to keep it in the glove box. The item does not work when directly connected to the phone. Interestingly, I have a USB hub that works with my phone and when I plug it in it works, so the item itself works, just not if you plan on using it on a directly connected Note 9. Because of this, it won't work for my purpose, so I'll try another brand.
