I've bought a lot of zucchini and sweet potato noodles from the store - much cheaper to cut on my end. I like this CD because it reproduces these noodles well and I don't have to buy a separate spiralizer. It also does a good job of slicing french fries (which come out a bit curly) from regular potatoes. One important note: place the vegetables across the oval hole and don't feed them all the way through the hole. like a shredder disc. If you do this in reverse, you'll end up with very short chunks of vegetables. In length you are limited by the width of that oval hole, but I haven't found a problem with that. If you want extra long fries or vegetable noodles, a spiralizer is best.
