First off I would like to say that I really like PWR+ cables and have had nothing but excellent results with most of the cables I have used before. They have always been quality products and almost always worth their price. And so I'm very disappointed with this charging cable and I really don't want to give this cable such a bad mark, but since I'm my second since December I don't feel like I have a choice. This is actually my second PWR+ cable of the same type for Lenovo Legion Y520 laptop December 28, 2019 and my fourth replacement cable from Revain October 2019. This time this cable lasted exactly 5 months, better than 2 for the first PWR+. But for $52 I think they should last a few years, call me crazy or titled but that's what I think :) Anyhow, the photos above show what happened. And note that I'm not using this rigidly with constant movement, pulling, or twisting, but it looks like I'm looking at the plug separating from the cord and the ground wire splitting. It doesn't make sense, and again this is a second PWR+ cable of the same type that did the same thing. This time, when I received the cable on March 7th, I wrapped tape around the base of the connector, thinking that this would prevent this very problem, but no, it happened. Although as I said above this second cable lasted 5 months instead of 2 months, the tape may have helped a bit. I'm sure these are great cables just not for this Lenovo connector. As I didn't do a warranty exchange on the first cable I think I'll do it with this one and depending on the result I'll adjust my rating as things go.
