This is a good backpack. The large center compartment easily fits 3 Layers of casual IT fashion: 1 pair of Levis 501, 3 t-shirts, 3 long-sleeved shirts, underwear, socks, a Braun electric shaver and more. 15" MacBook Pro and charger in the laptop compartment. The front pocket contains several special diet protein bars, a large one Packet of Pamela's gluten free chocolate chip cookies, a toothbrush, toothpaste, a holdall for liquids etc., a small container of fiber powder, an Amplifi Teleport Wifi device.The small top bag contains a giant Volvo key fob, keys, wallet, passport and service key card small side pockets on the underside can hold a lot: mobile phone chargers, small parts, allergy medication komente, Flonase, a small bottle of Advil, etc. Pretty cool. Everything fits in effortlessly. The stiffness of the bag leaves gaps of empty space at the top of each section. Perfect for storing your Macbook Pro charger, liquid pouch and other things you need when traveling. For my next trip I decided to cut out a large padded center pocket (not the one in the laptop compartment) to add another 1/2 to 3/4 inch center pocket. Very easy with scissors. There are enough pockets and pouches, this padded center divider was a complete waste of space for my needs and kind of gets in the way. Much better now in terms of volume. Would give five stars if they designed it that way or made that padded pocket wall removable. If you are actually still using the tablet and are out and about with it, you can conveniently store it next to your laptop in the padded laptop compartment. Not sure why they included that other bag divider. Also use it for everyday use with a lot less in it. Works perfectly. No discomfort or irritation. Comfortable to wear.
