Headlights look good and work well so far; However, they turn on and off randomly or change color. I've bought several of these necklaces and with about three strands it goes fast every now and then. The remote control is good; However, you need to be pretty close for it to work, and aim directly at the power supply on the string. With some colors it may happen that one or two strands have a light that also does not completely change to the selected color. I've found this to be the case with lighter colors. This happened once on one strand and when I cycled it it corrected itself but it didn't happen on the other. I use remote outlets to power mine. However, they contain the same color as last time, so I have to go to each skein and select the color I want again. When I just plugged them directly into an outlet with the remote, they went back on to the last color I had set them to. It's a bit of a hassle going to each strand to change the color, but I still love the look of the lights and the fact that I have all these color options in one strand. They are packed very well so you can string them neatly.
