I've tried several different waterproof outdoor speakers and these are the best I've come across. Basically I need backlit speakers and they worked great. I also tried a few lamps at Costco and was very disappointed because they looked great but didn't work well. I couldn't go because they would lose contact. But I could get quite far away from them and they would pick up the sound perfectly. The range of these speakers is amazing and the quality is great! I left these speakers outside under a tarp in the rain and cold (40°) for a month and they worked great. The best part is that you can still connect speakers. We have a big garden and my phone has never lost contact with them. Read the instructions, because with the right use of the main speaker (TX), it's easier. You can turn off the main speaker and both will turn off. I wish the charge had lasted longer but it has lasted longer than any of my previous ones. Also, I leave the lights on while listening to music, so that alone is worth five stars. I bought another pair for my sister.
