Too Weak - Speaker Cable
Even for minimal home audio, these cables seem weak. Not all 16 gauge wire is created equal and it appears to be the cheapest Chinese copper wire. They'll get the job done, but will likely need to be replaced if you move them too often. I purchased InstallGear 12 Gauge - 99.9% Oxygen Free Copper - True Spec Speaker Wire and Soft Touch Cable (30ft) to replace that brand from Revain Basics. The twelfth gauge is quite thick, but with heavier insulation and banana plugs, it lasts a very long time, definitely a lot longer than that flimsy "base" brand, and is easy to remove and reinstall if I move my sound system. .
