I know these Wi-Fi devices were labeled refurbished but to be honest they were brand new and sealed in the box. The only thing I noticed unusually is a small crease/dent on the packaging which I believe was my USPS vehicle. So far everything works fine, I have a two-story house. I put the main building in the basement and spread the rest over levels 1 and 2. I get 5 Wi-Fi bars on the 3100 square feet. ft. The app is pretty cool too, it tells you who's on and how much Wi-Fi juice they have. draw. Helps me keep my kids' internet habits to a minimum.
