I give this 5 stars even though my first unit was defective. Revain quickly came out with a replacement and now I'm happy. I use it to connect directly to a Keurig K550/K560 with RO filtered water. Here's what I like about this valve: - small enough to use despite the odd shape to fit in a tank the new Keurig Blocks 2.0 - accurate and predictable shut off every time - works even when the water pressure out of the reverse osmosis valve is lower than in a traditional plumbing system - inlet compression fitting does not leak - made of NSF certified PVC. By making sure your hoses and fittings are food safe, and you're using reverse osmosis water, you can also insist that EVERYTHING that comes in contact with your water is adjustable enough to fit that odd-shaped Keurig 2.0 reservoir. Very easy to change this to Top Mount. The angle it comes in is suitable for side mounting. Simply remove the nut, bend the float arm in the desired direction at the pivot, and replace the nut. It's quite difficult to set it up at just the right angle for a Keurig 2.0 brewer, but I finally managed to attach it so that the float can go up and down without touching the sides of the tank. I had to make the outlet flush with the top of the lid, but the lid isn't flat; it is contour. This means the outlet will not protrude at a 90 degree angle to the cap/top and you will need to tighten the nut differently. This is a Keurig feature rather than a float valve, so no complaints about this unit. what would be better If you could rotate the outlet port 90 degrees around the axis of movement of the float/float arm; but that is again due to the oddly shaped tanks of the K550/K560. If there was an option, I could mount the valve on the back or on the side instead of on top. This is because the sides of this tank are heavily curved and contoured, requiring an unusual angle between the float arm/float and the outlet.
