I have three more ratchet straps, all from Marino. i love all three I took a chance because Marino didn't have basket-style ones. This belt failed for several reasons. First, it's too thick to slip through the buckle. You have to force it every time. Second, the unlocking mechanism is incredibly uncomfortable. It takes two hands and considerable effort to bend the noose around my waist. Depending on how tight you want your belt to be, this can be an issue. Third, the plastic rail that the mechanism sticks to is too far on the strap. I usually only tighten it to the first notch or two and I have a long tail left over to wrap on the other side. To be fair it seems well made and my parents don't fall. But I only wear it when I have no other choice.
