Installation is a bit cumbersome. I have a bike with round forks at least halfway up. The rubber mount looked like it would mount on the flattened portion of the fork, but it was too far from the unit to lift. I called Cat Eye and the nice support guy said I could just crush the rubber on the round part. He also mentioned that the mount allows the sensor to be tilted close enough to receive a signal from the wheel magnet. Exactly what I needed to know. Now everything works, even though the computer is mounted an inch above the mount for my detachable basket and not on the handles. I liked knowing my average speed, current speed, time, elapsed time, distance and calories. The computer stops when you stop the bike so it only tracks ride time. Automatic start. Very happy with the features and readability. Setting up a computer is easy. My latest Planet Bike was almost impossible to assemble. It's straight. Good price. Would buy again.
