Excellent hold. Not waterproof.
We bought these shoes for mountain hiking. The grip was great. When we were in areas with snow, the shoes let a lot of water through. We had to wring out our socks, dry our feet and put plastic bags over our feet for the rest of the hike. I would recommend them for regular hikes. I wouldn't wear them in snow.
Pros
- These fit my grandson well. They will be good shoes for school. They are easy to put on and take off. They are durable.
Cons
- Shoes may not be suitable for children with wider or flat feet, which can lead to discomfort and blisters.
