Review on 🍞 Hamilton Beach Easy Reach Roll-Top Door Toaster Oven, 6-Slice Countertop - Silver (31127D) with Bake Pan by Kristen Simpson

This oven had great reviews and we bought it to replace an old Black and Decker toaster. The top opening seemed like a cool feature, but the fact that the oven doesn't turn off when you open the door makes it just as likely to burn someone. In addition, we mainly use it to reheat toast, frozen waffles, etc. You have to turn the oven on to a high setting and then turn it on to a low toasting setting. Due to the design of the handle, it's difficult to find a cross between not toasted at all and burnt. I'm not sure how it happened, but the oven was also on at a point where we didn't realize it, we never intentionally set it to a constant value, meaning it could accidentally happen. The final motivation for my review is that trying to cook something for 20 minutes made me realize it has an incredibly loud timer. Unfortunately, I disposed of the packaging material as soon as I received the toaster, otherwise I would have sent it back.
