The sound quality isn't impressive, but this is a portable monitor so I wasn't expecting it to be great. To be honest, I still prefer regular speakers to TV speakers. Image quality is surprisingly good, and I love that it can be powered from a portable phone charger if needed (5000mAh lasted just over an hour and a half). It even came with USB-C to USB-C cables, which are great for connecting the Switch directly to a monitor without using a docking station (tip: plug the video cable into the top USB-C slot and the power cord into the second USB port). -C, I thought it worked better).
