The photos do not show that there are only 3 deep pockets for pens, rulers, scissors etc. May or may not be the deciding factor for you I was glad I ordered 2 of them instead of one. I replaced a large but very ugly plastic carousel that had some scissors, lots of large markers, multi-colored pens and highlighters, and none of them worked. A better choice for those who have a lot of deep items might be Rolodex Mesh Collection Mobile Device and Tablet Stand, Black (1866297) which is oval shaped and has deeper pockets. So this sorter has 3 deep pockets and 2 small ones. shallow top drawers and 3 large (but curved) slightly deeper drawers. It worked for me when I had a pair as I had room for small items that could get lost in the deep pocket compartment - see photos - such as B. Pencil sharpener, staple remover, small solar calculator, etc.
