I also believe this is not an original Dyson unit; the lack of a "Dyson" fused to the body proves it. I have a Dyson V6 cordless vacuum and a Cinetic Big Ball upright vacuum and interestingly this tool fits more easily into the cordless vacuum than the upright hose. Fitting into the staff of the righteous is the most difficult, but not impossible. In my opinion, long bristles make this large tool more useful, easier and quicker to use than the Dyson combination tool, which is a crevice tool with a bristle locking ring. I prefer the short duster with a round port surrounded by a thick circle of soft (horsehair?) bristles, but didn't want to waste time looking for it and then trying to fit it. I would like to see an update for the short dust removal tool that includes soft carbon fibers to eliminate the static electricity on the dust. As I also bought the "Dyson Genuine Handheld Tool Kit" for cordless tools, I now have this and a smaller version of this clear dust removal tool. Time will tell which will be the most useful.
