I bought a Qooltek digital thermometer from the start and it arrived quickly, but the unit didn't work properly and the instructions were "very vague" to say the least. After doing my initial check, I received an email from "Rose" at Qooltek explaining the situation and that it appeared that I had received a non-working device. Rose explained to me that reading "Lo" means the device is defective. She informed me that they would send me a new thermometer. Below is my update on said thermometer: "Product update. After I posted the first review, I was contacted by "Rose" at Qooltek and she informed me that I had received a faulty thermometer and that they would fix it via email. I'm impressed that companies read their customers' product reviews. Rose explained to me via email that if the digital display is Lo the unit is defective. "Anyway, Rose sent a brand new unit and I am pleased to report that it arrived undamaged and is working reasonably well. I use this thermometer to check the temperature of the water in the PEX pipes leading from the wood-fired boiler outside to my basement." "My original review was changed to "I highly recommend this company and their products highly recommend" upgraded. There are instructions on their website and honestly there isn't much to read other than how to go from Fahrenheit to Celsius Rose explained to me that the probe head does NOT need to be pushed all the way next to whatever I'm looking at Temp Chatting. Qooltek has done a great job with their product and Rose was a real pleasure speaking and she will resolve any issues you have had. Right. I highly recommend Qooltek.
