I received the package as expected in 2 days with a premium membership. The iron was bubble wrapped in a nice box as the product was wrinkled when shipped. The iron was very light, but at the same time durable. It has a beautiful chrome finish on the side with the company logo engraved on the handle. Very nice touch and details that you don't see in any other iron. Aside from the iron looking good, the iron works better than I expected. My gullible stylist recommended a flat iron so I could style my own hair at home since I didn't have the opportunity to visit her every week to get my hair done. Doing your own hair takes some practice, but with patience it can be done. I have short coarse hair so this was the perfect size for my hairstyle. You can see the plate width versus the BIC handle in my photo. I could straighten them, curl them, give them volume and style. My hair is dry but silky and light without using any products. You can adjust the temperature from 250F to 450F. I left the temperature setting between 350-370 even on my coarse hair. I saw no reason to go over 370 as I use it on short hair and don't want to damage my hair. I would recommend starting with a low temperature first and then gradually increasing it one temperature setting at a time. One pass is enough for me to cut my styling time in half and reduce heat damage to my hair. I travel. All I need is an adapter as it automatically switches to a different voltage. I would recommend it to anyone with short hair or for small touch ups. I will consider other sizes from this company as my hair grows back. I am already looking for a dryer from this company.
