My daughter says the jacket does the job! Living in wintry conditions, in her teens and twenties, she only wears a long sleeve shirt underneath and she says she sweats sometimes! I think it's worth my money and it doesn't cost $500-600 to get the heat you need to live in this climate. Definitely recommend for this type of climate so I think it can work well in colder climates with the right layering.
