Bought for use under a kitchen cabinet. Installation was very easy, although I would suggest using the screws provided instead of double-sided tape. The double tape only lasted a few weeks before being released. Light strips are very light, so tape breakage can only be attributed to the tape itself, not the weight of what they are holding in place. The screws are tiny so getting into your cabinets won't be a problem, but their small size makes installation a bit tedious. I don't understand other reviews criticizing these lights for not being very bright. If maybe they're hoping to use them as overhead lighting replacements then yes they would never replace my built in kitchen lights which are essential for cooking main meals but I don't think they are designed for that at home. First. As work lights, they are very bright and perfect for my purpose. Without switching on other lights in the kitchen, a (3-way) chain of lights under the cupboards provides enough light for light kitchen tasks in the area, such as z or coffee. Cup of tea . . .The emitted light is warm; not the typical bright bluish light commonly associated with LEDs. I am very pleased and have since ordered 3 more sets - two more for other areas of my kitchen and one set for the inside of an old cupboard that has been converted into a liquor cabinet.
