I bought this kit to knit a sock pattern using the magic loop method. And although the plastic tubing holds up much better than I expected and is very pliable and bends easily, it snags on the seams and makes my work difficult to shift. Eventually I had to give up and start DPN. I later reverted to the US size 1 needles from the kit. Everything went great. until my needles started bending under tension. In the end, the needle broke from the stress. The bottom line is that smaller needles won't last long.
